Promontory Pointe HOA residents;

 

Please note that SAPD now offers online filling of police reports

under the conditions noted below.  If something happens,

do NOT hesitate to report the incident… even if it doesn’t seem

like much was taken.  All incidents need to be reported to SAPD

so that they are fully aware of the crime we experience in our neighborhoods.

The following offenses may now be reported online:

-Theft under $500 (no firearms)*

-Burglary of Vehicle*

-Criminal Mischief (vandalism) under $500*

-Graffiti under $500*

-Theft of Service under $500*

-Lost Property

*without known suspects

 

The San Antonio Police Department now offers report

filing online. If you are a victim of any of the above listed crimes,

and do not want a police officer dispatched to your

location or, must leave before one can arrive, your report can be

reported online.  Visit the SAPD Web site to file your online report

or to see what other services/programs are available.

TASK SUMMARY

Oversee neighborhood safety and security issues.

 

 

      MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES                                       

Work with San Antonio Police Department neighborhood SAFFE (San Antonio Fear Free Environment

Officer on security and crime related issues.

Oversee and coordinate the HOA Cellular on Patrol (COP) program.

Work with the HOA Communications Committee and Webmaster to promote effective community security

education and awareness, keeping our community informed of security initiatives, appropriate neighborhood

crime incidents and statistics, recommended security practices, etc.

Coordinate the HOA’s annual National Night Out event.

Manage the committee budget as approved by the HOA Board of Directors.

Recruit new committee and COP members.

Keep the HOA Board of Directors apprised of Security Committee accomplishments, issues, and needs,

and recommendations.
